This iconic Airstream is more than a retail space; it’s a revolutionary pop-up Fine Jewelry destination, bringing exclusive collections and signature Permanent Jewelry experiences directly to private parties, bachelotte celebrations, and bespoke events. Anchored by Salinas’s Manhattan Studio in the historic Diamond District, BEA masterfully blends heritage craftsmanship with modern innovation, setting a new standard for how fine jewelry is experienced and celebrated.

Every piece of jewelry created by BEA is designed and made in New York, right in the heart of the Diamond District. “From my studio, nestled in this world-famous hub of craftsmanship, I bring each design to life with the highest level of skill and artistry. The Diamond District is home to generations of expert jewelers, and being part of this vibrant community allows me to combine tradition with innovation in every custom piece.”

CAD SERVICES

With extensive CAD experience, BEA is able to offer incredibly precise custom jewelry designs. “With years of experience utilizing CAD software, I’m able to translate your concepts, sketches, or inspirations into fully realized 3D models. These models give you an exact preview of your piece, down to the smallest detail. You can see how every gemstone is set, how the metal flows, and how the overall design will come together—before anything is made.”

REPAIR SERVICES

In addition to creating unique, custom jewelry, BEA also offers expert repair services. Whether it’s resizing a cherished ring, restoring a vintage piece, or repairing a delicate setting, I take great care in restoring your jewelry to its original beauty. Alongside her custom fine jewelry collections, BEA offers a modern, minimalist approach to everyday luxury ~ Permanent Jewelry. These custom-fit, seamless chains in 14k gold, gold-filled, and sterling silver are welded directly onto the wrist, ankle, or neck, creating a lasting symbol of connection, style, or personal meaning. Often paired with BEA’s signature charms, each piece is designed to be layered, loved, and lived in.  

BARBARA SALINAS

Barbara’s journey began behind the lens. A natural-born artist, she studied photography at the International Center of Photography and design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

She began her artistic career capturing the beauty of the world through her camera lens. This experience heightened her awareness of intricate details and textures in everyday life, igniting a passion for creating tangible art.  As she explored the art of photography, she found herself increasingly drawn to creating her own pieces, a path that ultimately inspired her to become a jeweler. This transition allowed her to blend her love for visual storytelling with the tactile experience of crafting narratives in precious metals and stones—resulting in elegant, sculptural jewelry designed to be layered effortlessly, styled instinctively, and worn daily as the epitome of wearable luxury.

Barbara’s artistry runs deep in her roots, profoundly influenced by her father, a master blacksmith. Growing up, she spent countless hours watching him transform raw metal into beautiful objects, each a testament to his skill and creativity. She now aims to blend that heritage craftsmanship with her own unique vision.
